What the website stores

The shop currently uses local browser storage to remember the products in your basket and your acknowledgement of the essential-cookie notice. Session storage remembers when you dismiss the WELCOME10 welcome message until that browser session ends. This is necessary for the basket and your on-device display preferences to work between pages or visits on the same device.

These local values do not contain your name, contact information, delivery address or payment details. You can remove them by emptying the basket or clearing this site’s stored data in your browser.

Product likes

When a guest likes a product, we set a cookie called simos-product-likes to remember that choice in the same browser for up to one year. It contains a random identifier, not your name or payment details. Clearing it removes this browser’s connection to its previous likes. Signed-in favourites are saved in your account.

Analytics and advertising

We do not currently use advertising cookies, marketing pixels or third-party analytics trackers. If this changes, this information and any consent choices required by law will be updated before those tools are used.

External services

Links such as WhatsApp take you to another service, which may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy terms. Clerk uses essential cookies to keep customer account sessions secure. At checkout, Square’s secure payment form may use cookies or similar storage needed to process the payment, prevent fraud and protect the transaction.
